We are looking for 3 individuals who can work remotely to help SheLift grow from May - August.

Social Media Manager

SheLift is looking for a social media BOSS to take over the Instagram account all summer. Responsibilities will be to grow our audience engagement and to post aesthetically and conceptually compelling content 3x week to both Instagram and Facebook. This person will be responsible for creating a social strategy, and have all content approved prior to posting. This role will also require engagement with our audience by responding to comments and messages, commenting on other accounts, and growing our page followers. 
 
Applicants must:

  • Be working on a degree in [visual] communications or arts.
  • Have a aesthetically compelling personal Instagram.
  • Be able to create original content: photos, design, GIFs, etc.
  • Experience managing an instagram account for another business or individual is preferred.
  • Be well versed in SheLift branding and voice. Must be able to write captions in SheLift voice, and search for on-brand re-sharable content: articles, posts, videos, etc.


This position is for 300 college credit or volunteer hours.
Option to extend into Fall semester.

PR & Communications

SheLift is looking to earn some media gold. With the launch of the SheLift Podcast hitting the airwaves in May, and events all throughout the year, we are looking for a confident individual to help pitch press opportunities and placement. This person will be responsible for pitching but not limited to: The SheLift Podcast, pitching Sarah for press engagements,  

Applicants must:

  • Be working on a degree communications or PR.
  • Have experience pitching press for another business or individual.
  • Have press contacts for leading publications and outlets.
  • Have a familiar understanding with the landscape and audience.
  • Be able to accurately and autonomously share the SheLift mission and answer preliminary questions.


This position is for 300 college credit or volunteer hours.
Option to extend into Fall semester.

Event Planner

We host several events a year that bring our SheLift community together for once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We also host an annual reunion for the participants who go through a SheLift retreat and their families. This summer we are hosting our reunion in Denver, Colorado and are looking for an experienced and exceptionally well organized individual to help orchestrate and finalize planning for this 3 day event. Responsibilities will be coordinating group travel arrangements, finalizing accommodations and reservations with facilitators, reaching out for donations as needed; meals, gear, etc. Communicating and engaging with participating families: sending out itineraries, details, waivers and retrieving their travel arrangements. This personal will be required to be on-site in attendance for the reunion the first weekend of August and will be handling a smooth and organized operation.

Applicants must:

  • Have experience with event planning of various scales.
  • Be efficient, budget savvy and well organized.
  • Be confident in managing multiple arrangements, communications and agreements. 
  • Be available to assist and support families prior to attendance.


This position is for 300 college credit or volunteer hours.
